Mount Vernon Square is a neighborhood in Northwest DC that takes its name from an actual city square bordered by 7th Street NW, 9th Street NW, Mount Vernon Place and K Street NW. Best known for the Walter E. Washington Convention Center, Mount Vernon Square is also the site of NPR’s offices.
